August Interactive (augustinteractive.gg), a technology-forward gaming studio, has joined the Face the Fight coalition (wefacethefight.org), ushering in a new era of veteran mental health support through cutting-edge gaming and esports initiatives. This collaboration leverages the power of interactive entertainment to address critical challenges faced by our nation's heroes.
The partnership will leverage August Interactive's flagship programs — the Gamers and Guardians live streaming series and the Military Esports League (MEL) — to amplify Face the Fight's mission of preventing veteran suicide and promoting mental health awareness.
Veteran suicide is not inevitable — it is preventable. Face the Fight works to ensure that no veteran, family member, caregiver, or survivor feels isolated in their journey. It strives for a future where every individual has access to support and resources, leading to a dramatic reduction in veteran suicide by 2030.
